INTERACTION

Placed in front of a screen in a vertical position, the visitor controls the lights of the environment by moving his body. The points of view change randomly, thus giving a complex vision of the painting. This one, in constant transformation, shows a representation of the viewer's avatar. The gestures activate areas of the virtual environment, thus triggering specific events.

Explorer in the middle of the environment of volumetric forms, the aim of the installation aims to reproduce the creative experience at the base of the project. The idea is to give the visitor control over the lights and shapes of the virtual environment.

Experiments in production for the creation of an interactive installation

The interactive installation version of Raw Material relies on this large, vertically positioned screen. The visitor's body movements influence the camera positioning and the lighting within the environment. Invisible triggers also transform certain parts of the environment. When the visi-tor moves away, the system transitions into autonomous pilot mode, resulting in a visual experience that remains in constant flux within the virtual environment.

The implementation of webcam sensors is motivated by the objective of developing a calibration-free (sensorless) system. This system facilitates the creation of multiple interactive scenes that explore various aesthetic processes. The new system utilized for this version of Raw Material supports real-time 3D rendering effects to ensuring aesthetic quality in 3D visualization.
